The MSV Hindenburg Minden (officially: Military Sports Club Hindenburg Minden ) was a handball club from the East Westphalian city ​​of Minden in North Rhine-Westphalia . The first team became German field handball champions in 1936 . The club colors were blue and yellow.

The club was founded on April 1, 1932 by soldiers from Pioneer Battalion 6 after it was discovered that there were numerous talented players among the soldiers. The association was named after the then Reich President Paul von Hindenburg . The new club quickly penetrated the Westphalian top and became the first champion of the newly founded handball Gauliga Westphalia in the 1933/34 season , but failed in the following German championship in the first round at the Academic TV Berlin .
