Prince Mabandla Fred Ndavombili Dlamini (born November 11, 1930 ) is a Swaziland politician and was Prime Minister of Swaziland from 1979 to 1983 .

Prince Mabandla Dlamini is a member of the royal family and worked as a manager on a sugar cane plantation prior to his appointment as Prime Minister.

In 1972 he was elected to the House of Assembly for the opposition Ngwane National Liberatory Congress (NNLC); In 1973 all parties were banned by King Sobhuza II .

Until the death of Sobhuza II in 1982, he supported his government policy, but also tried political reforms and set himself the task of combating corruption in the administrative apparatus. He obtained the release of 15 NNLC members who had been in prison for several years. He made additional enemies with his attitude towards the apartheid policy of the time, which was critical of South Africa . Since the country was economically dependent on its large neighbor, he was ousted by conservative members of the political elite and replaced by Bhekimpi Dlamini .
