Madeinusa is a 2006 Peruvian - Spanish drama film directed by Claudia Llosa , the niece of the writer Mario Vargas Llosa .
action
Madeinusa is a 14 year old girl who lives in the Peruvian Andes in the small, remote village of Manayaycuna (Quechua for "enclosed village"). Her biggest dream is to go to Lima , where her mother fled years ago. While her father, the mayor of Manayaycuna, urges Madeinusa to sleep with him, her sister Chale is jealous and tries to make her life even harder.
Every year the Holy Week is celebrated excessively in Manayaycuna . Madeinusa has been elected “Holy Virgin” this year and is to lead the procession. Salvador, a photographer from Lima, happens to come to the village at the beginning of the celebrations. Salvador and Madeinusa find each other sympathetic and sleep together. Madeinusa would like to go to Lima with Salvador, who is also ready for this.
At the end of the film, Madeinusa kills her father with rat poison, accuses Salvador of the murder together with her sister and ultimately drives to Lima alone.

He surpassed "the current South American cinema by headlong" through image power and ideas.
