Madhupur ( Hindi : मधुपुर , Madhupur ) is a small town in the northeastern administrative district of Deoghar in the Indian state of Jharkhand . At the time of the 2011 census, there were 55,000 inhabitants in Madhupur. The city is located 294 km east of Haora on the railway line to Delhi and forms the starting point of a single-track route to Giridih, 32 kilometers away .
