Magdalena - obsessed by the devil is a German horror film from 1974. The film, directed by Walter Boos under the pseudonym Michael Walter , had its first cinema showing on May 22, 1974.

Magdalena is brought up in an institution. However, the nice girl turns into a mean, obscene and sexually obsessed when she becomes the host of a demon. People who deal with it are in danger; solid objects become objects in flight. After the professors fail to resolve the case, a priest tries to heal Magdalena. Under hypnosis, the demon reveals himself, who escapes the girl's body as a black snake under the command of a prayer and is trodden on by a doctor.

Remarks

The film tried, like many other productions of the time, to profit from the success of the box office hit The Exorcist . At the box office it was a great success and grossed at least eight million at production costs of one million Deutschmarks.

With Rudolf Schündler one of the actors from playing The Exorcist in this rip-off .
