Mahdi Chahjouei (born July 22, 1989 in Mashhad ) is an Iranian football player .

Career

Mahdi Chahjouei learned to play football in the youth team of Payam Mashhad in Iran. Here he signed his first contract in 2008. The club from Mashhad, the capital of the Iranian province of Razavi-Khorasan , played in the country's highest league, the Persian Gulf Pro League . In mid-2009 he moved to Foolad Novin . Here he was under contract until mid-2010. Where he played from July 2010 to June 2012 is unknown. In July 2012 he was signed by Shahrdari Bandar Abbas from Bandar Abbas . With the club he played in the second Iranian league, the Azadegan League . He moved to Tajikistan in July 2015 via the Iranian stations Shahrdari Zanjan and Esteghlal Ahvaz . Here he signed a contract with FC Istiklol . The club from Dushanbe played in the first division, the Vysschaya League . He celebrated the championship with the club in 2015. On October 31, 2015 he was with Istiklol in the final of the AFC Cup . Here they lost to Johor Darul Ta'zim FC from Malaysia with 0: 1. His contract was not renewed at the end of June. Where he played from July 2016 to mid-2019 is unknown. For the return series he was signed by the Thai fourth division club Muangkhon WU FC from Nakhon Si Thammarat . For the club he played 15 times in the fourth division, the Thai League 4 , in the Southern Region. As the bottom of the table, WU had to start the fifth division at the end of 2019. Fourth division Hatyai City FC , who also played in the Southern Region, signed him in early 2020. For the fourth division he played two games. In August 2020, the capital city club Kasetsart FC signed him . The Bangkok club played in the second division, the Thai League 2 .
