Malignant Tumour is a Czech band from Ostrava . Founded as a grindcore band, their style changed over the course of the band's history to crustcore .

history

The group was founded in 1991, the only founding member still active today is singer and guitarist Bilos. After numerous line-up changes, the group turned musically from grindcore to crustcore in the 2000s . They adapt elements of the British metal band Motörhead both in the lyrics and in the music . In 2010 the group won the Anděl Music Prize , the Czech edition of the Grammy Awards , in the Hard & Heavy category with their album Earthshaker . The so far last studio album Overdose & Overdrive was released in April 2013 on War Anthem Records .
