Mame Cheikh Niang (born March 30 or 31, 1984 in Dakar ) is a Senegalese football player .

The striker began his football career with ASC Diaraf Dakar in his Senegalese homeland. For the 2005/06 season, Niang, nicknamed Bri , moved to the Moroka Swallows from Johannesburg in the first division of South Africa . In his first season in South Africa , the attacker scored 14 goals and won the trophy for the league's top scorer, the Lesley Manyathela Golden Boot.

On July 24, 2007, it became known that the offensive player with the strong left foot is moving to VfL Wolfsburg in the German Bundesliga for the 2007/08 season. In August 2008, Niang was loaned to Viking Stavanger until the end of the year , where he received a follow-up contract after the loan expired.

On May 11, 2011 it was announced that Niang, who has been without a club since January, has signed a contract with SuperSport United . The contract ran until 2013. In 2013 Mame Niang played for Pretoria University FC .

Mame Niang has played in many junior national teams in his home country. So far, he has made two appearances in Senegal's senior team.
