Manfred Wankmüller

Manfred Wankmüller (born December 25, 1924 in Gerabronn ; † February 13, 1988 there ) was a German writer and journalist .

Life

Wankmüller grew up in Gerabronn, graduated from high school in Heilbronn and after the end of the war and his return from captivity studied German in Würzburg and sociology in Heidelberg . He then worked as a journalist for the Hohenloher Tagblatt in Gerabronn.

He was his short stories about the people in known Hohenlohe , who operate in the mainly rural area Hohenlohe, wine, agriculture and animal husbandry and on the rivers Kocher , Jagst , Tauber , in and around the cities Künzelsau , Öhringen , Langenburg and Schwäbisch Hall around , Life.
