Emmanouil "Manolis" Papamakarios ( Greek Εμμανουήλ "Μανόλης" Παπαμακάριος , born August 26, 1980 in Peristeri ) is a former Greek basketball player who was 1.92 m tall and was used as a combo guard - point forward .

Career

Papamakario's career began with GS Peristeri . After six years, he moved to Makedonikos for a year before joining the Olympiacos team from Piraeus . He left this after three years to play for Panellinios GS . In 2011 he moved abroad and signed a contract for two years in San Sebastian with Gipuzkoa BC . After completing his contract, he returned to Greece to go basket hunting for Panelefsiniakos . After just one season, he left the club again to gain a foothold in the Spanish league. After only five games, he terminated his contract with Baloncesto Fuenlabrada and signed with KAOD AM in early December 2014 . Genetics for the remainder of the 2014-2015 season . For the 2015/16 season he moved to the A2 Ethniki to Faros Keratsiniou . The club was able to strengthen itself with some former players of the first division and gave promotion as a season goal.

In the cup competition of the same season, the club managed to make it to the finals, and has to face the Panathinaikos there. In the semifinals, the club defeated the PAOK basketball club with 69:65 points. With 21 points Papamakarios was a guarantee for this victory and thus also the best thrower of the game.
