Mansudae Overseas Projects ( Korean 만수대 해외 개발 회사) is a North Korean construction company based in Pyongyang and belonging to the Mansudae art studio .

In addition to numerous magnificent buildings in Pyongyang such as the Chuch'e Tower and the First May Stadium, the company has mainly implemented projects in African countries . In Namibia , the company built the State House , the Heldenacker and the Independence Memorial Museum in Windhoek . The company was also involved in the construction of the “Dr. Agostinho Neto Cultural Center ” in Luanda ( Angola ), the “ Monument to Three Tribal Chiefs ” in Botswana and a monument to Samora Machel in Maputo ( Mozambique ). In Senegal , Mansudae Overseas Projects completed the Monument de la Renaissance africaine in 2010, which is controversial because of its cost and monumentality .

The company was also active in other regions of the world. In Egypt and Syria, for example, it built large battle panoramas depicting the Yom Kippur War . At Angkor Wat in Cambodia, Mansudae Overseas Projects is currently applying for the contract to build an “e-museum”. Projects were also implemented in Malaysia , Ethiopia , Togo , Benin , the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Zimbabwe . So far the only project by Mansudae Overseas Projects in Western Europe is the reconstruction of the Frankfurt fairy tale fountain in Germany.
