The Río Manubles is an approximately 71 km long northern tributary of the Río Jalón . It flows through parts of the provinces of Soria and Zaragoza in the autonomous regions of Castile-León and Aragon in northeastern Spain .

The Río Manubles rises from several source streams on the west side of the Sierra de Moncayo northeast of the village Borobia near the eastern border of the province of Soria . From there it flows mainly in a southerly direction through the northwest of the province of Saragossa and finally flows into the Río Jalón at Ateca .

The only major tributary is the Río Carabán ; the Río Manubles is not dammed.

history
Especially in the late Middle Ages, the area between the kingdoms of Castile and Aragón was disputed (" Guerra de los Dos Pedros "). Several castle ruins (castillos) date from this time .
