Manuel Chuanguira Machado (born June 11, 1950 in Banaze , Mozambique ) is bishop emeritus of Gurué .

Life

Manuel Machado Chuanguira received on 13 December 1981, the sacrament of Holy Orders .

On December 6, 1993, Pope John Paul II appointed him Bishop of Gurué. The Archbishop of Beira , Jaime Pedro Gonçalves , donated him episcopal ordination on May 22, 1994 ; Co- consecrators were the Bishop of Quelimane , Bernardo Filipe Governo OFMCap , and the Apostolic Delegate in Mozambique, Archbishop Peter Zurbriggen .

Pope Benedict XVI accepted on October 9, 2009 Manuel Chuanguira Machado's resignation due to illness.
