Manuel Rivera y Muñoz

Manuel Rivera y Muñoz (born June 16, 1859 in Santiago de Querétaro , Mexico ; † May 2, 1914 ibid) was a Mexican clergyman and Roman Catholic bishop of Querétaro .

Life

Manuel Rivera y Muñoz received on May 19 in 1883 by the Bishop of Querétaro, Ramon Camacho y García , the sacrament of Holy Orders .

On November 14, 1904 appointed him Pope Pius X to the titular bishop of Carpasia and ordered him Coadjutor Bishop of Queretaro. The Bishop of Querétaro, Rafael Sabás Camacho y García , donated him episcopal ordination on January 22, 1905 in the Cathedral of San Felipe Neri in Santiago de Querétaro ; Co- consecrators were the Bishop of León , Leopoldo Ruiz y Flóres , and the Bishop of Tabasco , Francisco Maria Campos y Angeles . Manuel Rivera y Muñoz became Bishop of Querétaro on May 11, 1908, succeeding the late Rafael Sabás Camacho y García.
