Marbach an der Kleine Erlauf is a locality and as Marbach a cadastral municipality of the Wieselburg-Land municipality in the Scheibbs district in Lower Austria .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there were a total of 113 building areas with 43,119 m² and 72 gardens on 108,097 m² in the cadastral municipality of Marbach , in 1989/1990 there were 112 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 133 and in 2009/2010 there were 178 buildings on 317 building areas.

Land use

The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture. 476 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980 and 153 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 477 hectares and 153 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 453 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 151 hectares. The average soil climate in Marbach is 57.8 (as of 2010).
