Marc Wachs (born July 10, 1995 in Wiesbaden ) is a German football player . The defender is under contract with SV Wehen Wiesbaden .

Career

After his positions at FSV Schierstein 08 and SV Niedernhausen , Wachs moved to 1. FSV Mainz 05 in 2007 and went through its youth teams until 2014 . On March 1, 2014, he was part of the second team's squad for the first time, but was not used in the 1-0 win against SSV Ulm 1846 in the Regionalliga Südwest . Wachs made his debut for the second team on April 19, 2014 in the game against SpVgg Neckarelz , when he came on for Steven Lewerenz in the 77th minute . The game ended 2-0 for Mainz. In the promotion games to the 3rd division he was substituted on in the 85th minute for Dennis Franzin in the second leg against TSG Neustrelitz and scored the 3-1 final score for Mainz in the first minute of stoppage time with his first goal; the team rose to the 3rd division. He made his debut in the 3rd division on the first match day of the 2014/15 season in the 1: 2 defeat against Arminia Bielefeld .

In the 2016/17 season, Wachs moved to the second division newly promoted Dynamo Dresden on a free transfer and received a three-year contract.

In August 2017 it was awarded to VfL Osnabrück . For the 2018/19 season he moved to his hometown to the third division club SV Wehen Wiesbaden . With the SV Wehen he rose to the 2nd Bundesliga at the end of the season.

Private

On December 20, 2016, Wachs was shot and seriously injured in a robbery on a kiosk operated by his aunt in Wiesbaden . His aunt was murdered by the robber; seriously injured her life partner. The perpetrator was arrested three days later and sentenced to life imprisonment in 2017.
