Marcel Robert Tibaleka (born January 8, 1949 ) is a Ugandan diplomat .

Life

In 1970 he entered the service of the Ugandan police, which he also belonged to during the dictatorship of Idi Amin between 1971 and 1979. From 1971 to 1972 he was stationed in the barracks in Nsambya . In 1973 he was employed in the central police station in Kampala . This was followed by a period in passenger control at Entebbe Airport from 1974 to 1975 . In 1976 and 1977 he was deployed in Masaka and Arua . In 1979 he worked in the Liaison Office in Nairobi , Kenya . From 1981 to 1983 he was an attaché at the Ugandan embassy in Nairobi. In 1983 he became head of the special department in the field of international relations until he became Head of Operations in 1988. However, he remained responsible for the special department until 1996. From 1996 to 2007 he worked as a Force Transport Officer.

He obtained a certificate from the University of Clermont in France and a diploma from the Institute of Public Administration of Uganda.

On July 18, 2013 he was accredited as the Ugandan ambassador to Germany . Additional accreditations took place in Austria , the Czech Republic , Hungary , the Holy See , Slovakia , Bulgaria , Romania and Poland . He is also the permanent representative of his country to the United Nations in Bonn and Vienna .

Personal

Marcel Robert Tibaleka is married and has seven children. He speaks German , English , French , Runyoro and Swahili .
