Marcos Sebastián Aguirre (born March 30, 1984 in Arroyito ) is an Argentine football player . He has been playing for CA Talleres since mid-2018 .

Player career

Marcos Aguirre started his career as a footballer at Club Atlético Lanús in his Argentinian homeland in 2004. There he was able to assert himself quickly and play regularly. He was part of the team that won the Apertura 2007 and thus the first championship title in the club's history of Lanús. For the second half of the 2007/2008 season, the small but fast and agile winger, who is mostly used on the right, was loaned to the Spanish first division promoted Real Valladolid . He made his debut for Valladolid on 22 Gameday at the 0: 2 home defeat against FC Valencia .

After nine goalless appearances, Aguirre returned to his home in Argentina. Valladolid loaned him out again for a year. In mid-2009 he finally returned to Lanús. There he qualified for the Copa Libertadores in the 2009/10 season . In the following season he lost his regular seat and was only used irregularly. For the Clausura 2011 he was loaned to Arsenal de Sarandí .

In mid-2011, Aguirre left Lanús and joined CA San Martín de San Juan , who had just been promoted to the Primera División . There he could not assert himself and was only used three times. At the beginning of 2012 he moved to Nacional Montevideo in Uruguay. There he could not fight for a permanent place in the team and was only used six times. Nevertheless, he won the 2011/12 championship . In July 2012 he left the club again and joined Instituto AC Córdoba , which played in the Primera B Nacional . A year later he was hired by Venezuelan first division club Aragua FC and returned to Instituto AC Córdoba in mid-2014.

At the beginning of 2015 Aguirre switched to CD Antofagasta in Chile. There he was regularly used as a regular in midfield. The Apertura 2015 he joined with his team from last place. In January 2016 he went to Atlético Bucaramanga in Colombia. He fought for relegation with his team in the 2016 season. In mid-2016 he left the club and moved to Nueva Chicago back to Argentina. The club played in midfield of the Primera B Nacional. Aguirre was used 16 times. In mid-2017 he was hired by Deportivo Pasto in Colombia. Since mid-2018 he has been playing for CA Talleres in Argentina again.
