Mareike Adams (born February 27, 1990 in Wetzlar ) is a German rower .

Adams began rowing in 2002 with the RG Wetzlar. At the Junior World Championships in 2007 she won the title in double sculls , at the Junior World Championships in 2008 she won the double sculls with Clara Karches . In 2009 she took on the U23 World Championships fifth place with the roller , the year after she won together with Lena Möbus, Juliane Domscheit and Julia Lier in the quadruple sculls. In 2011 she won the double scull with Daniela Schultze, in 2012 in her final U23 year she finished second behind the Australians in the double scull with Ulrike Tbodysch, Judith Sievers and Marie-Cathérine Arnold .

At the European Championships in 2013 she rowed to fourth place in the double scull with Lisa Schmidla , and at the World Championships she finished fifth with Julia Lier. In 2014, Marie-Cathérine Arnold, Julia Lier, Julia Richter and Mareike Adams won the silver medal behind the Belarusian double four at the European Championships in Belgrade . At the 2014 World Championships , she and Julia Richter took eighth place in the double scull. In 2015 Julia Lier and Mareike Adams rowed in double sculls. The two finished fourth at the European Championships , at the World Championships they received the bronze medal behind the New Zealanders and the Greeks. At the European Rowing Championships in 2016 , Adams and Lier received the silver medal behind the boat from Belarus. She started at the 2016 Olympic Games with Marie-Cathérine Arnold in a double scull and finished in seventh place.

The 1.74 m tall Adams used to row for the rowing company Wetzlar 1880 , but is now starting for ETuF Essen .
