Maria Anna Katharina von Oettingen-Spielberg (born September 21, 1693 in Vienna , † April 15, 1729 in Groß-Glogau , Silesia) was Princess of Liechtenstein.

biography

She was the oldest of sixteen children of Count Franz Albrecht zu Oettingen-Spielberg and his wife Johanna Margaretha von Schwendi . Two of her brothers were Prince Johann Alois I and Anton Ernst zu Oettingen-Oettingen and Oettingen-Spielberg.

On August 3, 1716 she married Prince Josef Johann Adam in Vienna , five years after the marriage he became the ruling Prince of Liechtenstein. Josef Johann Adam was widowed twice, his last wife Maria Anna von Thun-Hohenstein died only six months before they were married.

The couple had three children together:

The princess died on April 15, 1729 in Groß-Glogau, Silesia. She was buried there in the parish church and not in the Liechtenstein family crypt in Vranov u Brna .
