Rydqvist won the bronze medal at the 2001 Junior World Championships with the Swedish 4x5 kilometer relay. She ran her first World Cup race in March 2003 in Borlänge , which she finished in 31st place in the sprint. Before that she had won the silver medal in the mass start race over 15 kilometers in the free technique and bronze with the Swedish relay at the Nordic Junior World Ski Championships 2003 in Sollefteå . Her best results at the Nordic World Ski Championships 2005 in Oberstdorf were 21st place in the 15 km skiathlon race and eighth place in the relay. She got her first World Cup points in March 2005 in Mora with tenth place in the 45 km mass start race. At the Swedish cross-country skiing championships in 2006 she won gold twice. In March 2007 she reached her first podium in the World Cup in Falun with third place in the relay. The Tour de Ski 2010/11 she finished in 11th place. At the Nordic World Ski Championships in Oslo in 2011 , she finished sixth in the skiathlon. The 2010/11 season , in which she achieved two podiums with the relay, she finished 31st in the overall World Cup ranking and 22nd in the distance ranking. In the Tour de Ski 2011/12 she reached the 27th place. She finished the Tour de Ski 2013/14 in 18th place. In the 2014/15 season she took 57th place at the Nordic Opening in Lillehammer and 12th place at the Tour de Ski 2015 . At the Nordic World Ski Championships in Falun in 2015 , she came ninth in the skiathlon and fourth in the 10 km freestyle. She won silver with the relay. In March 2015 she reached 10 km classic in Lahti and tenth place in the 30 km mass start race in Oslo and finished the season in 27th place in the overall World Cup. In the 2015/16 season she took 23rd place at the Nordic Opening in Ruka and 13th place at the 2016 Tour de Ski . Her best individual placement in the World Cup of the season was fifth in the 10 km mass start race in Falun. At the end of January 2016 she was second in the skiathlon at the Swedish championships in Piteå . At the end of the season, she finished 24th in the overall World Cup and 21st place in the Distance World Cup. At the beginning of the 2016/17 season, she won third place with the relay at the World Cup in La Clusaz . In March 2017 she was ninth in the Wasalauf . After the season she ended her career.
