Marian Marcel Dănilă (born September 9, 1991 ) is a Romanian biathlete .

Marian Marcel Dănilă starts for the Clubul Sportiv Școlar Baia Sprie , where he is trained by Marin Ananie. At national level, he was able to win numerous championship titles in the junior area and also competed in cross-country skiing . At the Romanian senior biathlon championships in January 2011, he took third place in the sprint, the first podium in over thirty years for his club, which focuses on the athletic training of students.

Dănilă played his first international race in 2009 in Ridnaun as part of the IBU Cup , but did not finish his first individual. In the following sprint he was 82nd. His best result in the racing series he achieved so far in 2012 in Altenberg , when he finished 51st in an individual. The first international championship was the 2010 Junior World Championships in Torsby , where Dănilă was 74th of the individual and 70th of the sprint. A year later , the Romanian was 78th in individual and sprint in Nové Město na Moravě . In the further course of the year he started in the junior races first of the Summer Biathlon European Championships 2011 in Martell , then the World Championships in Nové Město. In South Tyrol he came 13th in sprint and pursuit and missed a medal in the mixed relay in fourth place, in the Czech Republic he was lapped 45th in the sprint and in the pursuit race based on it. In 2012 Dănilă took part in the junior races of the European Championships and was in Osrblie 23rd of the individual, 38th of the sprint race, 35th of the pursuit and ninth with the mixed relay. At the European Championships a year later in Bansko , the Romanian started for the first time in an international championship in the men's area. He was 62nd of the individual, 54th of the sprint and did not finish the pursuit race as a lapped runner.
