Marianne Hackl (born June 18, 1967 in Oberwart ) is an Austrian politician ( ÖVP ). From 2015 to February 16, 2020, Hackl was a member of the Austrian Federal Council sent from the state of Burgenland .

Life

Marianne Hackl grew up in the Burgenland community of Wordsberg , where she also attended elementary school. She then completed secondary school in Stegersbach and the housekeeping and housekeeping school in Oberwart . Since 1982 she has been working in the regulated trade as a hairdresser and wig maker or stylist . Hackl has been working independently with her company Frisörteam Marianne since 1995 .

She has been Deputy Mayor of her home town of Wortberg since 2014 and was sent as a member of the Austrian Federal Council by the newly constituted Burgenland Parliament following the 2015 state elections in Burgenland . In this she was part of the parliamentary group of the Austrian People's Party . She has been the ÖVP women's leader in the Güssing district since 2016 . After the 2020 state elections , she left the Federal Council, and Bernhard Hirczy took over for her.
