Marianne Holberg

Marianne Holberg (born August 16, 1939 in Hamburg ) is a German translator .

Life

Marianne Holberg completed a degree in German and history ; then she worked as a teacher at schools in Germany and the Netherlands . She has been a freelance translator since 1994 . She translates novels , books for children and young people and non-fiction from Dutch into German .

She is a member of the Association of German-Language Translators of Literary and Scientific Works , VdÜ, and lives in Berlin .
