Marie-France Roth Pasquier (born April 25, 1968 ) is a Swiss politician ( CVP ). Pasquier was elected to the National Council in the canton of Friborg on October 20, 2019 .

Roth Pasquier has been a councilor in Bulle since 2011 and as such is responsible for youth, integration, transport and regionalization. Among other things, she is the vice president of Bulle sympa and a board member of the CO2 cultural association. Since 2016 she has chaired the Mobul transport association. In 2016 she was elected to the Grand Council . There she is president of the culture commission, member of the board of the tourism promotion fund and member of the justice commission. She has been co-president of the CVP since 2018. On October 20, 2019, Roth Pasquier was elected to the National Council in the canton of Friborg with 12344 votes .

Life

Roth Pasquier studied European Studies at the Université catholique de Louvain and Political Science at the University of Lausanne , which she graduated with a Master's. Pasquier is married and has three grown children.
