Pierre-André Page (born April 19, 1960 in Riaz ; resident in Châtonnaye ) is a Swiss politician ( SVP ). He was elected to the National Council in the National Council elections in 2015 .

Life

Page did an agricultural apprenticeship in Gempen . He then obtained a federal certificate of competence as a farmer at the agricultural school in Grangeneuve . In 1986 he passed the master craftsman examination as a farmer. He runs a company specializing in milk production and animal husbandry .

He is married with three children and lives in Châtonnaye.

politics

Page was elected to the Châtonnaye parish council in 1991 and became a syndic of the parish in 2001 . In 1996 he was elected to the Freiburg Grand Council for the first time and has been re-elected since then. He presided over the council in 2009. After three unsuccessful attempts, he was elected to the National Council in 2015, before giving up his seat in the Grand Council.
