Mariha (born September 13, 1981 in Münster ; actually Eva Maria Meyer ) is a German actress and singer-songwriter .

Life

In 2006 she released her debut album Elementary Seeking together with her band ( Dominik Decker - later with Marquess -, guitar ; Christian Decker , bass ; Lars Mosel , drums ) . The single Absolutely Entertaining became the title track of the Til Schweiger film Barfuss . In 2007 she recorded the title Todo Bien, Mariha with the band Marquess .

She has been under contract with the Columbia Berlin label since 2009, where she released the album Another Lover, in which she mainly deals with interpersonal relationships. The album was u. a. produced by Ralf Christian Mayer , who also worked for Xavier Naidoo , Die Fantastischen Vier and Clueso . In June / July of the same year she played the opening act for Suzanne Vega 's tour of Germany.
