Marilu Henner Lucy Denise (* 6. April 1952 in Chicago , Illinois , as Mary Lucy Denise Pudlowski ) is an American actress , film producer and New York Times -Bestseller- author .

Life

Henner is married for the third time: first for two years (1980–1982) with the actor Frederic Forrest , then from 1990 to 2001 with the director Robert Lieberman , with whom she has two children. She has been in a relationship with Michael Brown since December 21, 2006.

In 2012 she published a book called "Total Memory Makeover," according to which she can remember every single day since her 12th birthday extremely well. This ability is known in specialist circles as hyperthymetic syndrome (HSAM for Highly Superior Autobiographical Memory). Henner writes in her book that by then she was one of only twelve documented cases with this disposition worldwide.

Career

Henner first appeared on screen in 1977 in the film Between the Lines . Since then she has played leading and supporting roles in numerous Hollywood films and several television series . She also worked as a consultant for the crime series Unforgettable . From 1990 she wrote several popular science books on the subjects of child rearing and cosmetics.

Radio presenter

Henner is the host of The Marilu Henner Show , a radio talk show about health topics. It is widely distributed as a syndication by the Sun Broadcast Group US and runs every weekday. Previously, the program was also broadcast by the Genesis Communications Network .
