He wants to interview Jessie who works in one of these schools; however, she says she has had bad experiences with the press. Lawrence and Jessie get to know each other better and fall in love. Lawrence rewrites his article on aerobics schools so that it does not include Jessie. Nevertheless, the editors publish the first version of the article, which is unfavorable for Jessie.

Reviews

Vincent Canby scoffed in the New York Times on June 7, 1985 that the film was the " absolute, idiotic " end of the new subgenre of films about journalism that Alan J. Pakula had justified with The Untouchables . He offers an " unintentionally comical mixture of confused moralizing " and self-expression. The " screen persona " by Jamie Lee Curtis was similarly " strong " as her body ( " Miss Curtis's screen personality is as strong and striking as body forth ").

The lexicon of international films wrote that the film adorned itself " with socially critical motifs from political crime, without consistently maintaining this claim ". He was “ rather simple ” “ despite good camera work and a convincing leading actress ” and practiced “ exactly what he allegedly denounces: the sensational look into the human intimate sphere ”.

Awards

The film was nominated three times for the Golden Raspberry ridiculous award in 1986: John Travolta (worst actor), Marilu Henner (worst supporting actress), Aaron Latham and James Bridges (worst script).
