Marina Orschel

Marina Orschel (born July 14, 1937 in Berlin ) is a former German beauty queen and actress . In 1955 she became Miss New World , in 1956 Miss Berlin.

Life

On June 21, 1956, the Berlin high school student (old language branch) and ballet student in Baden-Baden was crowned Miss Germany . In the “intelligence test” she shone by reciting Homer's Odyssey in the original Greek.

In the Miss Universe election that same year on July 20 in Long Beach (California, USA), she reached number 2 and received the title Miss Photogenic .
