Marion Barber III (* 10. June 1983 in Plymouth , Minnesota ) is a former American American football poker players in the position of running backs . He played for the Dallas Cowboys and Chicago Bears in the National Football League (NFL).

In his youth at Wayzata High School played running back and all return positions. He later studied at the University of Minnesota and played on the football team there for two years, alternating with Laurence Maroney (later drafted by the New England Patriots ) on the position of running back.

Barber is the son of former New York Jets running back Marion Barber Jr. (* 1959). What was striking about him were his long dreadlocks .
