Marissa Irvin Gould (* 23. June 1980 in Santa Monica as Marissa Irvin ) is a former American tennis player .

Career

Irvin began playing tennis at the age of nine.

During her tennis career, she won eight singles and two doubles titles on the ITF Women's Circuit .

In 1997 she won the US Junior Women Open in doubles with Alexandra Stevenson . In the final they defeated the pairing Cara Black / Irina Selyutina 6: 2, 7: 6.

Personal

Marissa is the daughter of Helene and Richard, who was a three-time volleyball selection player . Her brother, Richard Andrew, played football at Harvard University . She was trained by Chuck Adams and Brian Teacher .

On January 19, 2008, she married Patrick Gould.
