Marius Ruhland

Marius Ruhland (born June 10, 1975 in Bonn ) is a German film composer .

Career

Marius Ruhland studied composition with Johannes Schild and Dieter Acker at the music academies in Cologne and Munich .

His breakthrough as a film composer came with the score for the horror thriller Anatomie , composed in 1999 , which became the most successful German film of 2000. Subsequently, he wrote parts of the music for the Berlinale opening film 2002 Heaven by Tom Tykwer , the music for Anatomy 2 and Bernd Eichinger's comedy Wie die Karnickel . Other works include the coming-out-of-age drama At the end of a day that is far too short (Death of a Superhero) with Andy Serkis and Thomas Brodie-Sangster, the 3D animation film Janosch: Come on, we'll find a treasure, and TV Films like Kennedy's Brain , Rude Awakening , The Secret of the Red House and many more

Marius Ruhland is also responsible for the music productions for the Mercedes-Benz automobile brand . In 2010 he wrote the commissioned Linde Suite , a five-movement concert work for Linde AG , which was followed by the Linde Suite Part 2 in 2012 . Various compositions for the concert hall were performed by the Münchner Rundfunkorchester , the Münchner Symphoniker and the Hofer Symphoniker .
