Life
Mark Leonard Bartchak received on 22 September 1980, the diaconate and the Coadjutor Bishop of Erie , Michael Joseph Murphy , it inaugurated on May 15, 1981 for the priest .
Pope Benedict XVI appointed him Bishop of Altoona-Johnstown on January 14, 2011 . The Archbishop of Philadelphia , Justin Francis Cardinal Rigali , donated him episcopal ordination on April 19 of the same year ; Co - consecrators were Joseph Victor Adamec , Former Bishop of Altoona-Johnstown, and Donald Walter Trautman , Bishop of Erie .
