Chanloung took part in U18 and U20 races in the Alpine Cup for Italy from 2012 to 2015 . At the Junior World Championships in 2015 in Almaty , he finished 48th in the 10 km freestyle, 29th in the skiathlon and 24th in the sprint. He has been racing for Thailand since the 2016/17 season. He ran his first World Cup race in Toblach in January 2017 , which he finished in 47th place in the sprint. At the U23 World Ski Championships in 2017 in Soldier Hollow , he came in 36th place over 15 km freestyle, 35th place in skiathlon and 17th place in sprint. In February 2017 he ran at the Winter Asian Games in Sapporo to 14th place in the 30 km mass start race, 13th place over 15 km freestyle and ninth place over 10 km classic. At the 2017 Rollerski World Championships in Sollefteå , he finished 22nd in the 20 km mass start race and over 22.5 km freestyle and 20th in the sprint. At the end of January 2018 he achieved 48th place over 15 km classic and 36th place in sprint at the U23 World Ski Championships in Goms . At the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang , he ran 79th place in the 15 km freestyle and 57th place in the sprint.
His sister Karen is also active in cross-country skiing.
