László Kimnach
László Kimnach (born July 1, 1857 in Buda , † November 9, 1906 in Budapest ) was a Hungarian painter , graphic artist , illustrator and teacher .
After studying architecture, he continued studying at the drawing teacher training institute in Budapest with Bertalan Székely and from April 1880 at the Royal Academy of Arts in Munich with Gyula Benczúr and Wilhelm Lindenschmit the Younger .
After completing his studies, he worked in Béla Pállik 's studio in Budapest . He also taught drawing. He spent a year in Venice.
His illustrations appeared in the illustrated magazine Vasárnapi Újság , including the portrait of Lajos Kossuth in 1883 . Kimnach also provided illustrations for the Crown Prince's work The Austro-Hungarian Monarchy in words and pictures .
He also dealt with fresco painting in churches.
