Mark Feeney

Mark Feeney (born July 28, 1957 in Winchester , Massachusetts ) is an American journalist and film critic .

Feeney grew up in Reading ( Massachusetts on). In 1979 Feeney graduated from Harvard College with a degree in literature and history . He has been with The Boston Globe since 1979 . He began as a researcher for the Boston Globe library. From 1980 he worked as an editor in the literary criticism section. In the early 1990s he was the editor of the analysis and commentary section of the Sunday edition of the Boston Globe. Between September 1993 and March 1994 he worked for The Boston Globe Magazine . He is currently the editor of the newspaper's features section, dealing with photography , films and art . He wrote a book called Nixon at the Movies: A Book about Belief , which was published in 2004. Feeney has taught at Brandeis University , Princeton University, and Yale University . In 2008, Feeney won for his criticisms Pulitzer Prize in the field of criticism .
