Mark Huffam
Mark Huffam (* before 1980 in Belfast ) is a Northern Irish film producer .
Mark Huffam started working for the BBC in the 1980s as a television production assistant. His first major job as a film producer was in 1998 for Steven Spielberg 's Saving Private Ryan , which was partially shot in Northern Ireland. Larger British feature film productions followed. In 2011 he was one of the producers of the first season of the Game of Thrones series . This was followed by productions by directors Luke and Ridley Scott .
In 2016 he was nominated for an Oscar for best film as the producer of The Martian - Save Mark Watney .
