Marko Ćuruvija

Marko Ćuruvija (Serbian: Марко Ћурувија ) (* 24 July 1981 in Belgrade ) is a from Yugoslavia originating handball player of Serbian nationality.

The 1.98 meter tall and 93 kilogram left winger was under contract with CB Ciudad de Logroño from 2011 to 2013 . Before that he played with RK Roter Stern Belgrade , Ademar León , RK Lovćen Cetinje , SD Teucro and from 2009 RK Metalurg Skopje and from 2010 RK Vardar Skopje . With these clubs he played in the European Cup Winners' Cup (2004/2005, 2009/2010), in the EHF Challenge Cup (2006/2007) and in the EHF Champions League (2003/2004, 2005/2006). For Teucro he was the top scorer in the 2008/09 season with 209 goals in the ASOBAL league. From February 2014 he ran for the Luxembourg club HC Berchem. In the 2015/16 season he was under contract with the Hungarian first division club SC Szeged .

Marko Ćuruvija was in the squad for the Serbian national team , for example for the 2010 European Handball Championship . He played at least 52 international matches in which he scored 119 goals.

Ćuruvija has been married to Tijana since 2013.
