The House Market Street 15 is a Grade II listed building in the town of Quedlinburg in Saxony-Anhalt .

It is located in the historic old town of Quedlinburg, north of the city's market square, on the east side of Marktstrasse. It clearly emerges from the building line. The building is designated as a merchant's court in the Quedlinburg monument register .

Architecture and history

The half-timbered house was built in 1660 during the early baroque period . An inscription with a coat of arms refers to ANDREAS SCHRÖDER as a builder. The very steep roof, on the west side of which is a dwelling, is particularly striking . The half-timbered facade of the house is decorated with pyramid beam heads , St. Andrew's crosses and footbands. The compartments of the framework are filled with decorative brickwork.
