Marktstrasse 3 (Quedlinburg)
The Market Street 3 is a Grade II listed building in the town of Quedlinburg in Saxony-Anhalt .

It is located in the historic old town of Quedlinburg, north of the city's market square. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is listed in the Quedlinburg Register of Monuments as a residential and commercial building. To the south is the also listed Kunsthoken , to the north is the house at Marktstrasse 4 .
Architecture and history
The property was originally a merchant's farm. Some of the courtyard buildings have been preserved from this period. The oldest courtyard building is a half-timbered house from around 1680. It is decorated with pyramid beam heads and ornamental walls of the compartments . In addition, there are three timber-framed farm buildings from the late 19th century in the courtyard.
Today's front building was built around 1900 as a replacement building. The facade is in the neo-baroque style using elements of art nouveau . Drifting work and mosaics are remarkable .
There is a shoe shop on the ground floor of the house.
