Architecture and history

The half-timbered house was built in the early Baroque period in 1665. The construction is attributed to the Quedlinburg master carpenter Andreas Bock . An inscription on the building that is no longer preserved reads, according to a message from local historian Adolf Brinkmann from the beginning of the 20th century, M. ANDREAS STOCK ZIMMERMAN . It is assumed that the name Stock is a transcription error and that the inscription was probably Bock. The sleeper is decorated with ship throats , the beam heads are chamfered. The building has a dwelling on the gable of which there is a diamond pattern . There is also a polygonal , two-storey bay window .

Noteworthy is a door built around 1820 in the classicism style .

On the courtyard side, there are two half-timbered building wings from the 18th century.
