Markus Huttner

Markus Huttner (born December 17, 1961 in Weilheim i.OB ; † May 31, 2006 in Leipzig ) was a German historian .

Life

From 1983 Huttner studied history , political science and economics at the University of Bonn . 1986/87 he was a visiting student in the subject Modern History at Christ Church College of Oxford University . In 1990, he graduated in Bonn with the Masters and was in 1994 at Konrad Repgen with the dissertation Catholic Church and Nazism in British newspapers to Dr. phil. PhD . While he was still completing his doctorate, he became a research assistant with Ulrich von Hehl at the historical seminar of the University of Leipzig , where he took up a habilitation . However, he could not finish this, he died prematurely. His brother is the ancient historian Ulrich Huttner .
