Marlen Billii (* the thirtieth August 1980 in Vöcklabruck , Austria as Marlene Kathrin Mairinger ) is an Austrian singer , songwriter , producer, publisher, label owner and designer.

Life

Billii began taking violin lessons at the music school when he was six. At the age of ten she also began taking piano lessons. At the same time she switched to the violin at the Bruckner Conservatory in Linz , where she took lessons for another three years.

She trained as an office clerk and at the age of 22 founded an event agency which she ran for nine years. In addition, she toured as a live act under a different artist name through clubs and discos in Germany and abroad and celebrated her tenth stage anniversary in 2016.

In 2010 she became the mother of twins, which led her to sell her company and devote herself entirely to music from 2012.

In 2015 she founded the Schlouse label and the Schlouse Musikverlag ; "Schlouse" stands for a fusion of the styles Schlager and House . In April of the same year, the debut single Taunz was released in Regn . The songs were produced by Wolfgang Lindner junior and Philipp Reisinger, also known as Sonic Snares. As a participant in the talent show at Schlagermove 2015 in Hamburg, she took first place with Jessica-Sarah Thoma .

With the spontaneous single Heit in oan Joahr , Marlen Billii dealt impartially with the topic of the federal presidential election in Austria in mid-May 2016. In July 2016 she presented the album Selfie in Vienna and released it on July 22nd, 2016. In the first week of evaluation she entered the Austria Top 40 album charts . The single Selfie was made by the cabaret group maschek after an appearance on Guten Morgen Österreich . parodied in the late night show Willkommen Austria with Stermann & Grissemann .

On 16 September 2016 won Marlen Billii the semifinals of the Underberg -Kochwettbewerbs cook and sing thee to Underberg in Munich. She also won the final on November 9, 2016 in Cologne with her menu. Billii is allowed to call herself "Germany's best cooking singer". In November and December 2016 Billii appeared in the opening act of Voxxclub on their Geiles-Himmelblau-Tour 2016 through Germany and Switzerland.

In 2017 she organized Schlager & Stars for the first time with us at home on the Attersee at the Feldbauernhof in Steinbach am Attersee . After a sold out event, Schlager & Stars took place at our home on the Attersee again on Corpus Christi in 2018. With her single Dirndl bring an 1er hoam , Billii dealt with the topic of educational reform at the end of school in 2018 and received great popularity on social media.

Songwriting

Billii works with Wolfgang Lindner junior and Thomas Eder under the pseudonym SOKOmiez for artists as a composer and lyricist. Among others, they took part in the song Kiss me on the album in December feeling of Stefanie Hertel and the song Dirndl Check'n on the album 300% Juzi the Young Zillertal with.
