Marlene Faro

Marlene Faro (* 1954 in Vienna ) is an Austrian journalist and writer.

Life

After graduating from high school , Faro started at the university in her hometown a. a. Study political science and history. She completed this course with a doctorate .

She then worked as a freelancer for magazines and newspapers such as Cosmopolitan , Der Feinschmecker , Geo , Der Stern and Westermanns Monatshefte . At the same time, an independent, successful literary oeuvre emerged over the years.

Her novel "Women who drink Prosecco" was filmed in 2001 for ARD under the same title .

Marlene Faro currently (2011) lives in Vienna.
