Richard Breitengraser (born November 22, 1981 in Halle an der Saale ) is a German TV and radio presenter , journalist and television producer.

Life

At the age of 6, Breitengraser, who used to go by the nickname “Ricky”, had his first TV appearance on GDR television in the popular show Im Krug zum grün Kranze . In 1997 he went to the youth radio of the Mitteldeutscher Rundfunk MDR Sputnik , at the same time he worked as a presenter and department head for the weekly youth magazine Milchbar . For RTL II Breitengraser took over the moderation of the BRAVO G! RL Talents . After moving to Cologne, he hosted the music channel VIVA Germany and stood in front of the camera for various TV series productions, such as Verbotene Liebe ( ARD ), Ritas Welt ( RTL ) and Die Nesthocker on ZDF .

In 2000 he began studying journalism . In Hamburg he worked in the editorial department of the PRO7 talk show Andreas Türck . He then moderated at Energy Hamburg . From 2002 to 2005 he presented the daily radio show Ricky in the afternoon from Erfurt at Landeswelle Thüringen and completed a traineeship. At the time, he presented the cinema journal PAM - PopCorn And Movie for MDR television and worked for KiKA .

Then Breitengraser played a key role in setting up the Saarbrücken station of the youth radio station bigFM . Here he worked as a moderator as well as editor-in-chief and program director. In 2007 he came to Berlin, where he worked as program director for JAM FM and also had a daily radio show called DriveTime .

As a television producer, he and his media agency realized TV projects for private broadcasters ( RTL , RTL II , ProSieben ). He stood in front of the camera for NBCUniversal in Vienna. From 2008 Ricky Breitengraser moderated the weekly talk format Timmousine for the TV broadcaster TIMM until its bankruptcy in 2010 . This show was honored in 2009 by the Adolf Grimme Institute and the Hessian State Agency for Private Broadcasting and New Media as the "chocolate side of private television". In 2011, the first episode of his personality talk show Breitengraser was filmed.

In addition, Breitengraser has been a DJ under the name Daniel de Paris since the age of 14 .

Richard Breitengraser worked as a presenter and reporter at ProSieben in the knowledge magazine Galileo , at ( MDR television ) and at RBB television . From 2011 to 2014, Breitengraser was also part of the regular team of moderators at 89.0 RTL .

Breitengraser works as a lecturer for radio and TV journalism, media communication, new media and social media. Among other things at the MIZ - Media Innovation Center Babelsberg. In addition, Breitengraser is a lecturer at the Deutsche POP , Berlin.

Since 2014, Breitengraser has been director of the world's largest short film competition, 99FIRE-FILMS Award, at the Berlinale .

Breitengraser worked as a managing producer and executive director for the EndemolShine Group, which produces formats such as Promi BigBrother, BigBounce, Kitchen Impossible, Masterchef, Masked Singer. He is the founder and managing director of the VOID International Media Group.

Richard Breitengraser was honored as one of the 100 most important and successful managers in Germany. It is part of the annually published list of the TOP20 Future Leaders and TOP100 Executives.

Trivia

In autumn 2012, Breitengraser was looking for an apartment in Berlin to rent, buy, and live on VOX as part of the docu-soap .
