Marlis Fertmann

Marlis Fertmann (* around 1955 in Lemgo ) is a German journalist , radio presenter and former head of the television program area of the North German Broadcasting Corporation (NDR) in the Lower Saxony State Broadcasting Corporation .

Life

Marlis Fertmann grew up in the North Rhine-Westphalian city ​​of Lemgo, where she completed a commercial training at the vocational school of the Lippe district (commercial school).

After her apprenticeship as a journalist and a traineeship at a newspaper , she moved to Schleswig-Holstein to the Landesfunkhaus Kiel , where she initially worked for the NDR as an editor and as a presenter for the radio station NDR 1 Welle Nord from 1984 . After around eight years, she switched to television in 1992 as head of the editorial team at Schleswig-Holstein Magazin in Kiel .

For February 1, 1997 Marlis Fertmann was in the Lower Saxon state capital Hanover appointed as Deputy Director of the NDR State Broadcasting House . There she also headed the television program area. She has been retired since August 2017. Her successor was Andrea Lütke .

Marlis Fertmann has already organized the NDR Klassik Open Air festival three times with the floating stage installed in the illuminated Maschpark behind the New Town Hall , most recently in 2016 with Giuseppe Verdi's opera La Traviata , which was celebrated by around 15,000 open air guests during the public rehearsal .
