Marcos Antônio Malachias Júnior , primarily known as Marquinhos (born April 30, 1982 in Barueri ) is a Bulgarian - Brazilian football player . He has been without a club since mid-2018.

Career

Marquinhos started his career in his native Brazil with CA Guaçuano in Mogi Guaçu in the state of São Paulo , from where he moved to Bulgaria in 2005 to Belasiza Petritsch . In the first season, the club was sixth with the attacking midfielder. After finishing eighth in 2006/07, he moved to CSKA Sofia at the beginning of the 2007/08 season . At the end of the season, ZSKA became champion and Supercup winner. After that, the team was runner-up twice in a row.

In the summer of 2009, Marquinhos left CSKA and joined Anorthosis Famagusta in Cyprus. In mid-2010, the Chinese first division club Changchun Yatai signed him . In early 2013 he returned to Bulgaria, where he joined Lokomotiv Sofia . With the club he reached the class retention twice. In the summer of 2014 he returned to CSKA Sofia. He initially had a regular midfield position in the 2014/15 season , which he lost in the championship round. After the end of the season, ZSKA had to be relegated. Marquinhos moved to promoted Pirin Blagoewgrad , with whom he reached the class in the 2015/16 season . Then he committed league competitor PFK Montana . There he terminated his contract at the end of 2016 and went back to Brazil.
