Mars is a village and a former French commune with 176 (as of January 1, 2017) in the Gard department in the Occitanie region (before 2016 Languedoc-Roussillon ). It belonged to the canton of Le Vigan and the arrondissement of Le Vigan .

With effect from January 1, 2019, the former municipalities of Bréau-et-Salagosse and Mars were merged to form the Commune nouvelle Bréau-Mars and have the status of a Commune déléguée in the new municipality . The administrative headquarters are in Bréau-et-Salagosse.
