Marten Krebs (* 1981 in Stendal ) is a German actor , presenter and entertainer .

Life

Krebs grew up in the Altmark in Saxony-Anhalt . From 2007 to 2010 he studied at the Charlottenburg Acting School in Berlin . Artistically he was discovered and shaped by the actress and Diseuse Gisela May . His teachers included the Romanian drama teacher and director Valentin Plătăreanu .

Marten Krebs was an actor at the Studiotheater Charlottenburg in Berlin. During this time he played Bruno in Martin Heckmann's Coming to the World (Director: Heidemarie Schneider Gosch), John Proctor in Arthur Miller's Witch Hunt (Director: Valentin Platareanu), Poseidon in Aristophanes ' Die Vögel (Director: Heidemarie Schneider Gosch), the Dr. Bartholo in Pierre Augustin Caron de Beaumarchais ' comedy The Great Day or Figaro's Wedding (Director: Evelyn Schmidt).

He played his first major role in 2011 at the Regensburg Tower Theater as a successful footballer in the play Orangenhaut by Maja Pelević , directed by Joseph Berlinger . Marten Krebs is the initiator of the charity gallery series "Lichtblick", in which he also appears as a moderator. This took place for the first time in 2002. In 2004, Krebs raised money for the victims of the flood disaster in Asia with the benefit gala . In 2006, the White Ring was the beneficiary of the “Lichtblick” gala in the Feldsteinkirche in Sanne. Gisela May was the guest star at the time . In 2012 Gisela May was again the star guest in Krebs' charity gala; this time the proceeds went to the José Carreras Leukemia Foundation. In 2013 Marten Krebs organized and moderated the big flood relief charity gala. The proceeds went to flood victims in the Altmark; Star guests were u. a. Annett Louisan , Barbara Schöne, and Gregory B. Waldis . In 2018, his new program “Stage, Art & Cheese Cake” started in Stendal, a tribute to his mentor Gisela May, with anecdotes, songs and elements of revue. In summer 2018 he worked as an acting coach at the " Cathedral Festival St. Blasien ". In 2019, Krebs played the master of ceremonies at the Altmark Festival alongside countertenor Jochen Kowalski in Arthur Honegger's dramatic oratorio Jeanne d'Arc au bûcher ( Johanna at the stake ) .
